Information and Education
Better health begins with better information. That's why East-West Health Centers include an
education component that gives you both the facts and the insights you need to make more informed
choices about our health:
- Courses and programs that explore the vital link between mind, body, spirit, and emotions
- A directory of health and wellness-related bibliographies and web sites
- Individual counseling and referrals
- Corporate wellness programs
- Women's health services
- Senior programs
- Sports medicine
- Self care
Skilled Health Professionals
The multispecialty staff at East-West Health Centers
includes board-certified physicians (MDs), naturopathic physicians trained in homeopathy, chiropractors,
acupuncturists, herbalists, massage therapists, exercise physiologists, psychologists, and
nutritionists. Other therapies and instruction include stress management, and meditation.
Team-Oriented Approach
- The client/patient is at the center of the integrated care team and the decision-making process
- A care and treatment plan will be developed and coordinated by a primary care physician (MD/DO)
- Multi-disciplinary practitioners work in concert with each other
- To help integrate the team approach, care providers work from a single medical record
On-Going Care and a Lasting Relationship
Because we view better health as a lifelong journey -- not a series of treatment episodes -- East-West
Health Centers staff offer phone or in-person follow-up to care as well
as access to a variety of self-care and support resources.
